My Path to Passion

It all started in 2017. I jumped into the medical billing world at a local physical therapy billing company, soaking up everything from credentialing to insurance and billing. But it was in 2018, working on the Insurance verification team, that I truly found my calling. I fell head over heels for the complexities of medical insurance! This passion drove me to go back to school, earn my Associate's degree, and become a certified medical biller and coder. From there, I returned to where it all began, climbing the ranks to Operations Manager and eventually Director of Billing Operations. But I knew there was more I could do.

SL Billing Services was founded on a simple, yet powerful, principle: keeping your billing local and personal. I witnessed the challenges and frustrations when a former employer started outsourcing services overseas. It became clear that many physical therapy billing companies were doing the same, leading to headaches for clinics and their patients. That's why I started SL Billing Services as a completely US-based company, with a strict no-outsourcing policy. My promise to you is personal service: you'll know who's working on your account and can always reach out with questions. I'm deeply involved in every account from the start, learning your processes firsthand and staying connected to ensure your success.

A Glimpse into My Life

When I'm not immersed in the world of medical billing, you'll find me cheering on my 12-year-old son at the baseball field. I'm also the proud mom to three adult daughters and a doting grandmother to my 18-month-old grandson – he's pure joy! For fun, my boyfriend, our friends, and I love hitting local spots to listen to bands and dance the night away (my singing might not be top-notch, but it's my escape!). And when I need to truly unwind, the beach is my Zen place, and I make sure to get there with my family as often as possible.
